Report from a meetingThe power of religious delusion
Jena, Germany - Meeting with Matthias Küntzel about his book "Djihad und Judenhass", Verlag ca ira, Freiburg, 13 Euro At a political meeting with the subject "jihad and anti-Semitism" the author Matthias Küntzel gave some views on his new book of the same name. Coming from Hamburg the political scientist is known for his articles in the monthly magazine KONKRET. Matthias Küntzel talked at the very beginning of his speech about the deeply inhuman terror-attacks of Islamite Jihad during the last month and years. The assassins of the attack at the discotheque in Bali were out to get killed as much visitors as possible. First they exploded a smaller bomb to hunt the people to the street, than they blocked the way to escape with a bus and detonated the great bomb. The Islamic killers of Bali, Djerba, Moscow and from the 11th September did work cool and calculating. They were not driven by despair, but they were deeply inspired of religious delusion, driven to kill disbelievers, who dare to enjoy living. At the very first the Jihads are looking out for Jews, whom they count for being "brothers of monkeys, murderer of the prophet, bloodsucker and warmongers". Pride suicide bombersIn the Arabic world the terrorist get political support through the political Islamism, showed by the polling results like in Pakistan or the mass demonstration in April 2002. At that demonstration that celebrated the suicide bombers against Israel, more than two million took part. The German and European left at the same time is practicing ignorance and playing it down. Their intellectual head word giver try to rationalise the phenomenon, meaning not get aware of reality, talking likely about despaired offenders holding back that these didn't effect despaired at their videos reclaiming responsibility. In contrary: they were proud and full of respect for their upcoming violent acts. Küntzel: "In former times mass murder had been characterised as fascist, but today while Jews are concerned, you hear not a word about it." Nazi admirerIn the center of his study stands the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. Out of this circles, which inspired al-Qaida, being part of it, came the idea of Jihadism. This means a strategy of destruction that delivers through terror and aware suicide a new interpretation of the term Jihad. The "death industry" counts as an ideal of this Jihad - announcing not the love to life but the love to death - cold and calculated. Matthias Küntzel refered to the ideological identities between NS-fascism and Jihadism, both coming up in the 20th of the last century. Influences of nazi allies was personified by the mufti of Jerusalem who was taken to the security of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. The former economical program of the Islamite looked similar to those of the nazis. The Jihads are leading a struggle against all sensual and material things of the capitalist and communist sphere. Not only the Taliban but the Islamites in Chechnya too declared prohibition of dancing during they took power from 1996-98. They are against the equalization of women, they are patriarchal male bonds wanting to restore absolute power of males over women and children. Muslim Brotherhood sowed hate against JewsThe author requested that the power of the religious delusion should not be underestimated. To the Jihads human reason counts as a sacrilege, their only matter is to believe in god. They look at the spread of reason as an "intellectual invasion of western imperialism", they are against the principle of doubts and supposition. Matthias Küntzel than talked about the historical origin of Jihadism, he states detailed in his book. Aggressive anti-Semitism was spread in the Arabian sphere only by the Muslim Brotherhood. The Egyptian population has been positive-minded to the numerous Jewish people in the land until the aggressive Islamic propaganda battle in 1936. The author than refered to the Hamas Charta, which proceeds out of the theory of a Jewish world conspiracy. This Charta being stubborn ignored in the west is a fascist concoction bases its anti-Semitic baiting on the so-called "Protocols of the wise man of Zion". The author calls the left not to stay in respect about a mass movement. The cause of this wrong respect lies in a failing Com-Intern theory about the NS-fascism, which denies the mass character of fascism. During the following discussion the author took the view that the Iraqi regime must be overthrown, but he didn't agree to military measures. Out of the audience was opposed that the deployment of all possible measures to overthrow this regime has to be welcomed, to give a democratic impulse to the whole reactionary region.
